The ‘S’ stands for speed and excellent cornering grip, even in racing conditions. The combination of the Black Chili Compound rubber compound, improved Vectran Bräker puncture protection on the sidewalls and the Laser Grip tread pattern makes this a high-performance road tyre. Conti promises 20 per cent higher speed, 28 per cent better sidewall protection and a weight reduction of 50 grams. The tyre is approved for use with standard rims up to 5.0 bar and for hookless rims up to 5.0 bar.
