Pirelli is expanding the P Zero family with the launch of its most versatile tyre, featuring special characteristics for reliability and comfort whilst remaining lightweight. The TechBELT carcass improves puncture resistance without compromising the tyre’s weight, whilst the EVO compound, combined with the tyre tread and the shallow grooves on the sides, increases grip on wet and dry asphalt. Together with the fabric reinforcements on the tyre bead, handling is improved on wide rims and when riding with low tyre pressure.

Pirelli EVO rubber compound:

The road-specific EVO rubber compound is a formula developed for maximum versatility: good rolling resistance, optimal wet grip and good durability. The compound was created by combining contrasting properties and offers a good compromise for anyone looking for a versatile racing tyre.

Pirelli TechBELT carcass:

The TechBELT Road carcass consists of 120 TPI nylon fabric reinforcements beneath the tyre’s tread, which reduce weight, prevent penetration by sharp objects and increase puncture resistance. The tyre bead, reinforced with aramid fabric, improves handling and stabilises the tyre on wide rims and when riding with low air pressure. The result is a solid choice for road use, including racing and intensive training, offering a balanced ratio between handling and puncture resistance.
