This front wheel corresponds to the DT Swiss GRC 1400 Dicut 50 front wheel, but is fitted with the label of the GRC 500 rear wheel featuring the Classified Powershift hub.

The gravel wheels with aero rims, developed in collaboration with the specialists at Swiss Side, paired with high-strength Aero Comp straight-pull spokes and the tried-and-tested 240-spline hubs. The lightweight 1538-gramme full-carbon gravel road wheelset, DT Swiss Spline GRC 1400 Spline DB 42 mm clincher with a 24 mm rim width for tyres 28–54 mm wide. The completely newly developed GRC 1400 wheelset series offers minimal weight, good aerodynamics and very high lateral stiffness. The GRC 1400 Spline carbon disc wheels, featuring a 42 mm high, high-modulus full-carbon Swiss Side rim developed by DT Swiss, are designed for folding and clincher tyres, with straight-pull spokes and the proven, lightweight Ratchet Star rear hub technology.

DT Swiss Straight Pull Spokes

To achieve an ideal balance between weight and stability, only the highest quality straight-pull spokes are used in SPLINE wheelsets. They are more stable than conventional spokes yet can still be trued and replaced using standard tools.

DT Swiss GRC 500 Spline 50 Disc Clincher Rims

The rims, with a 24 mm rim width, are built for tough cyclocross and gravel use and also offer good aerodynamics. The GRC 500 Spline rims are made from high-modulus carbon fibre using a new resin. The profile, developed by Swiss Side and inspired by aircraft construction, offers excellent aerodynamics. 

Hooked / Crotchet tubeless TC:

‘Hooked’ or ‘Crochet’ refers to the shape of the rim flange, which features a so-called hook. This aids in securing the tyre bead and ensures reliable performance, even when using high tyre pressure (> 5 bar). ‘Tubeless’ means that the rim can be ridden without an inner tube, although a setup with an inner tube is also possible.

DT Swiss Spline Disc Hubs

The DT Swiss Spline hubs, with their optimised hub body and wide hub flanges, offer greater lateral stiffness. Designed for straight-pull spokes and based on the DT Swiss High End 240 front hubs with Swiss industrial stainless steel bearings, they are extremely durable and can be serviced and converted without tools.
