DT Swiss 240 EXP Straightpull wheelset with Mavic C-2132 Aero rims

The lightweight and sturdy high-end road, cyclocross, endurance and gravel front wheel featuring the 392-gram Mavic C-2132 Aero carbon rim and the DT Swiss 240 EXP Spline hub.

We offer this wheelset with a Centerlock or Disc 6-hole brake disc mount. The DT240 Spline hubs are available in quick-release, thru-axle or Boost thru-axle versions. Thanks to their 21 mm rim width, the Mavic rims are suitable for tyres between 25 and 50 mm wide

Wheel building at TNC-Hamburg:

Hand-built in our specialist workshop. We manufacture these wheels entirely by hand for you, which is why we cannot offer a right of return for them. Thanks to more than 30 years’ experience in wheel building, we extract the optimum in concentricity, durability and stiffness from the materials. These wheels are, of course, tested multiple times; we also pre-load the spokes in both the transverse and longitudinal directions. This eliminates the need for re-truing over a long period of time. We use DT Swiss spokes exclusively. These ensure outstanding durability of the wheelsets. For DH and Enduro use, we recommend brass nipples.

Included in delivery:

• Front wheel fully laced in our workshop and hand-trued with a DT 240 Straightpull hub, DT spokes, DT nipples as selected and a Mavic C-2132 carbon rim.
• Excludes rim tape and valve

Hubs DT Swiss 350 Disc:

The new DT 350 Classic hubs feature the new Ratchet SL freehub body system with 36 teeth. With the 350 hubs, DT Swiss offers affordable, high-quality hubs. From road bike to downhill versions, the 350 hub range is designed for maximum durability. Equipped with high-quality seals and bearings, they are the choice if you are looking for hubs for durable, low-maintenance wheelsets. The DT 350 rear hubs are also fitted with DT’s patented Ratchet freehub body system. Two toothed discs mesh together to guarantee loss-free power transmission. Thanks to the raised hub flanges, the DT Swiss 350 hubs provide wheelsets with excellent lateral stiffness and durability.

Mavic C2132 Carbon Rim

The high-end C-2132 carbon rims from Mavic for road and gravel use. Aero profile with 32 mm height, 21 mm internal rim width, weighing just 392 grams, Adaptive Layup, hooked tubeless ready, suitable for road bikes and also for wide gravel tyres. Available in 24-hole and 28-hole versions.

The super-light full-carbon rim with an aerodynamic NACA profile, 32 mm height and 21 mm rim width is not only very light but also very stable. Its range of use extends from classic road racing to tough cross-country and gravel riding.

DT Competition spokes:

The double cold-forged spoke made from rust-proof 18/10 chrome-nickel steel with a tapered middle section for robust, lightweight wheelsets. We recommend these spokes for virtually all wheelsets. Extremely durable and sufficiently lightweight, DT Competition spokes enable wheelbuilding of the highest standard. Thanks to the tapered middle section, the spokes absorb movements in the wheel exceptionally well, without compromising on lateral stiffness or durability. Weight with nipple approx. 7 grams.

DT Competition Race spokes:

Just as versatile as the bent version of the DT Competition spoke, but as a straight spoke. They are optimally matched to the new straight-pull hubs and offer even greater durability compared to the conventional DT Competition spoke. Thanks to the extra-thin middle section, they save a further 35 g per wheel compared to the already lightweight DT Competition, whilst offering almost the same stiffness and durability.

DT Swiss Aero Comp spokes:

Designed for stable, laterally stiff yet aerodynamic wheelsets, the DT Swiss Aero Comp spoke is cold-forged in the middle section, making it lighter and stronger. In a further complex process, it is flat-forged to optimise aerodynamic properties whilst simultaneously increasing material strength. The DT Aero Comp guarantees a balanced combination of stiffness, aerodynamics and durability.

DT Swiss Aero Lite spokes:

The DT Swiss Aerolite spoke is flatter and lighter than any other; the DT Swiss Aerolite spoke features an aerodynamic flat profile and is extremely lightweight. Thanks to the 0.9 x 2.3 mm aerodynamic mid-section, this spoke can be fitted to all standard hubs. The Cold Forging Technology (CFT) developed by DT Swiss makes the reduced and forged DT Aerolite the lightest stainless steel spoke and gives it excellent mechanical properties. Particularly suitable for super-light and fast road or cross-country wheelsets. 64 DT Aerolite spokes weigh an incredible 278 g at a length of 264 mm. Weight per spoke at 264 mm length: 4.31 grams

DT Swiss Revolite spokes:

Completely redesigned with a 2 mm spoke head and 2 mm spoke thread, and aerodynamically tapered to 1.3 mm at the centre, the Revolite is the stable all-round spoke. The DT Revolite is the ideal choice for riders looking for a spoke that combines durability with low weight. Double cold-forged spoke made from rust-proof 18/10 chrome-nickel steel with a 1.3 mm thick and 1.58 mm wide semi-aero centre section.

DT Squorx spoke nipples:

The DT Swiss Squorx Pro Head nipple combines ease of installation with light weight thanks to the DT Pro Head design, combined with an additional Torx and square tool socket. The Torx socket provides a larger contact area during wheel building, ensuring that the force from the tool is better distributed across the nipple. The spherical contact area within the rim guarantees perfect alignment with the spoke.
