DT Swiss EX 1700 Spline hubs:
DT Swiss straight-pull hub bodies for the Spline wheelsets require minimal material, allowing them to be constructed to be lightweight yet stable. With the optimised hub body, specifically designed for extreme braking forces, and the reinforced flange, DT Swiss provides the perfect foundation for extremely stable All Mountain, Enduro and FR wheelsets.
DT Swiss Spline 1700 Boost 15x110 front hub:
The DT Swiss Spline Boost front hubs feature a wider hub body with spoke lugs and flange positioned further outwards. This makes these wheels even more laterally stiff and durable. Due to the wider hub design with a 110x15 mm thru-axle mount, they cannot be converted and are only compatible with Boost 15x110 mm forks.
DT Swiss Spline 1700 Boost rear hub:
The DT Swiss Spline Boost rear hubs feature a wider hub body with spoke holes and flanges positioned further outwards. This makes these wheels even more laterally stiff and durable. Due to the wider hub design with 148x12 mm thru-axle mount, these hubs cannot be fitted to frames with an X12x142 mm mounting dimension and are only compatible with Boost 12x148 mm or Boost 10x141 mm rear ends / frames
DT Swiss EX 1700 Spline rims:
Built for tough enduro use, the DT Swiss EX 1700 offers excellent acceleration and high stability. The super-sturdy rims are butt-welded. The rim profile is designed to be stable enough to satisfy the best enduro riders, whilst remaining lightweight. With a 30 mm rim width, tyres ranging from 2.0 to 2.6 inches in width can be fitted. Thanks to the wide rims, wide tyres roll significantly more easily and offer greatly improved cornering. The new rim beads on the DT Swiss Spline rims are ideally designed for upgrading with a tubeless kit.
DT Swiss Ratchet Star freehub system:
The freehub body system operates with two sprockets, each equipped with 36 teeth. This ensures loss-free power transmission, extreme durability and virtually no play when pedalling. The freehub bodies can be fitted without tools. The Ratchet Star freehub bodies are available for HG, XD and Micro Spline cassettes. We also offer the HG and XD freehub bodies as an option in a super-robust steel version with the wheelsets.
DT Swiss Straight Pull Spokes:
To achieve an ideal balance between weight and stability, only the highest quality straight-pull Competition spokes are used in Spline wheels. They are stiffer than conventional spokes yet can still be trued and replaced using standard tools. The straight-pull lacing allows for precise placement and alignment of the spokes. This optimises the wheel’s stiffness and eliminates any unwanted stress peaks.
