DT Swiss F 1900 Classic wheelset

The F 1900 Classic wheels feature a new rim profile. This reduces weight and improves impact resistance and puncture protection. Available in Boost and Super Boost versions.

Taking on a new jump or the biggest drop in the bike park can be quite nerve-wracking. The adrenaline rush when you’ve made it is just as intense as the one from a crash. This is especially true when you’re the first to take on the challenge. The F 1900 CLASSIC is extremely durable, not just in the event of a crash. Thanks to a new rim from the latest generation of our downhill rims, combined with our tried-and-tested Ratchet hub, this wheel is built to withstand countless laps in the bike park.

DT Swiss F 1900 Super Boost 12x157mm rear wheel:

The FR 1500 Super Boost rear hub with a 12x157 mm thru-axle mounting. These Super Boost rear wheels are only compatible with frames featuring a Super Boost 157 mm mounting width and cannot be converted. Not compatible with downhill frames featuring the old 12x157 mm mounting; these have different hub bodies

DT Swiss F 1900 Classic rims:

Impact resistance is increased thanks to changes to the rim profile and additional material in specific areas. With an internal rim width of 30 mm, tyres ranging from 2.1 to 3.0 inches in width can be fitted. According to tests conducted with a leading tyre manufacturer, the redesigned rim flange improves puncture resistance by 17 per cent compared to the F 1900 CLASSIC rim.

DT Swiss F 1900 Classic Hubs:

The DT F 1900 wheelsets are fitted with DT Swiss 370 hubs featuring a high-flange design. The patented freehub body operates with interlocking gear rings, ensuring loss-free power transmission.

DT Swiss Ratchet LN:

The freehub body system operates with two toothed discs. This ensures loss-free power transmission, extreme durability and virtually no play when pedalling. The freehub bodies can be fitted without tools and easily converted to HG, Microspline or XD.

DT Swiss Competition spokes:

The double cold-forged spoke made from rust-resistant 18/10 chrome-nickel steel with a tapered middle section for robust, lightweight wheels. We recommend these spokes for virtually all wheels.
