DT Swiss 350 Spline Disc Hub Wheel Set plus Stans ZTR Crest
The extra-light 29-inch wheelset for cross-country racing, marathon and road racing, featuring the new robust and lightweight DT Swiss 350 straight-pull hubs and the Stans Notubes ZTR Crest rims, weighing just 399 grams, with a 25 mm rim width and asymmetrical rim profile. Extremely stable and recommended for tyre widths from 2.0 to 2.4
We offer the wheelsets with freehub bodies for Shimano HG, SRAM XD and Shimano Microspline cassettes, and in 6-bolt disc and Centerlock versions. The hubs are available in all standard mounting widths, from quick-release to Boost thru-axle. Available with either 6-bolt disc or Centerlock brake disc mounts.
Stans NoTubes ZTR Crest MK4
The legendary Crest is now even better. With a wider rim width and the proven low-profile BST rim bed, the new Crest MK4 rim features a 25 mm rim width. Thanks to the WideRight System introduced by Stans NoTubes, the rim width increases to 25 millimetres, providing even better tyre support and full volume development. Inspired by the Stans carbon rims, the new rim profile, combined with the new 6069 aluminium alloy, increases lateral stiffness and impact resistance, whilst reducing the likelihood of snake bites.
Wheel building at TNC-Hamburg:
We hand-build these wheels exclusively for you. Thanks to over 30 years’ experience in wheel building, we extract the optimum in concentricity, durability and stiffness from the material. These wheels are, of course, tested multiple times; we also pre-load the spokes in both the radial and tangential directions. This eliminates the need for re-truing over a long period. We use DT Swiss spokes exclusively. These ensure outstanding durability of the wheelsets. For enduro use, we recommend brass nipples.
These wheels are made to order specifically for you, so we cannot offer a right of return for them. Please feel free to enquire about other wheel configurations. We will then send you a quote.

DT Swiss 350 Straightpull Hubs
With the new 350 hubs, DT Swiss offers affordable, high-quality hubs. Now featuring a significant weight reduction and 36-tooth ratchet discs. From road bike to downhill versions, the 350 hub range is designed for maximum durability. Straightpull refers to straight, non-offset spokes. Thanks to this technology, it is possible to achieve an ideal balance between weight and stability. The straight-pull spokes allow for very precise alignment and optimised positioning within the wheel, resulting in a stiffer and more responsive wheel.
DT Swiss Straightpull:
- Straightpull spoke positioning: Straightpull lacing allows for precise placement and alignment of the spokes. This optimises wheel stiffness and eliminates any unwanted stress peaks.
- Straightpull hub shell: DT Swiss straight pull hub shells require minimal material, allowing them to be constructed to be lightweight yet stable.
- Straightpull lacing pattern: with a crossed lacing pattern, the spoke anchoring is designed so that the forces introduced almost cancel each other out. This increases the precision of the bearing race and further extends the service life of the ball bearings.
Stans Notubes BST
Notubes’ Bead Socket Technology. This special rim design features a wide rim bed with a low flange for high tyre stability and full tyre volume development. The BST technology improves air retention in tubeless systems, results in less rotating mass and virtually increases the effective rim width compared to competitors. A wide rim also reduces tyre flexing in corners and allows the bike to be ridden with lower tyre pressure. The ZTR rims are fully tubeless-compatible when used with rim tape and a valve.
DT Competition spokes:
The double cold-forged spoke made from rust-resistant 18/10 chrome-nickel steel with a tapered middle section for robust, lightweight wheelsets. We recommend these spokes for virtually all wheelsets. Extremely durable and sufficiently lightweight, DT Competition spokes enable wheel building at the highest level. Thanks to the tapered section in the middle, the spokes absorb movements in the wheel exceptionally well, without compromising on lateral stiffness and durability. Weight with nipple approx. 7 grams
DT Competition Race spokes:
Just as versatile as the bent version of the DT Competition spoke, but in a straight design. They are optimally matched to the new straight-pull hubs and offer even greater durability compared to the conventional DT Competition spoke. Thanks to the extra-thin middle section, they save a further 70 g per wheel compared to the already lightweight DT Competition, whilst offering almost the same stiffness and durability.
DT Swiss Aero Comp spokes:
Designed for stable, laterally stiff yet aerodynamic wheelsets, the DT Swiss Aero Comp spoke in the straight-pull version is first cold-forged in the middle section, making it lighter and stronger. In a further complex process, it is flat-forged to optimise aerodynamic properties whilst simultaneously increasing material strength. The DT Aero Comp guarantees a balanced combination of stiffness, aerodynamics and durability.
DT Swiss Aero Lite spokes:
The DT Swiss Aerolite spoke is flatter and lighter than any other; the DT Swiss Aerolite spoke features an aerodynamic flat profile and is extremely lightweight. Thanks to the 0.9 x 2.3 mm aerodynamic mid-section, this spoke can be fitted to all standard hubs. The Cold Forging Technology (CFT) developed by DT Swiss makes the reduced and forged DT Aerolite the lightest stainless steel spoke and gives it excellent mechanical properties. Particularly suitable for super-light and fast road or cross-country wheelsets. 64 DT Aerolite spokes weigh just an incredible 278 g at a length of 264 mm. Weight per spoke at a length of 264 mm: 4.31 grams
DT Squorx spoke nipples:
The DT Swiss Squorx Pro Head nipple combines ease of installation with light weight thanks to the DT Pro Head shape, combined with an additional Torx and square tool socket. The Torx socket provides a larger contact area during wheel building, ensuring that the force from the tool is better distributed across the nipple. The spherical contact area within the rim guarantees perfect alignment with the spoke.
