Thanks to the lightweight carbon rim, which makes no compromises on strength, the E-Crosstrail SL Carbon 29 significantly reduces inertia, ensuring better acceleration and greater control. The steel spokes, developed by our teams at the foot of the French Alps, are also lighter and improve vertical compliance and control for greater safety on uneven terrain. The new Infinity hub with 28 steel spokes provides high lateral stiffness, ensuring optimum stability in tight corners. You’ll love dancing along the trails.

This high-performance and robust wheel has been designed for the high torque of e-bike motors and features a 30 mm wide inner rim, which provides additional stiffness and precision in corners, allowing you to ride through bends with absolute confidence.

As with all Mavic wheels, durability and repairability are top priorities with the E-Crosstrail SL Carbon 29. The reliable ID360 freehub and tubeless system for easy tyre fitting save time and energy when maintaining your wheels. And so you have even fewer things to worry about, the E-Crosstrail SL Carbon 29 comes with two spare spokes per wheel, so you won’t have to head back to the workshop to repeat the process.

Mavic Infinity E-Bike Hub:

This E-MTB version with an oversized hub body is only available with the Boost standard for frames and forks. Infinity technology impresses with its weight-saving construction, optimal lacing – contact-free straight-pull spokes with uniform spoke length for consistent spoke tension – as well as the proven Instant Drive 360 freehub system. The precision CNC-machined hub bodies ensure optimised spoke angles and reduced asymmetry – resulting in stable, stiff and durable wheels. Large-dimensioned industrial bearings with minimal play ensure smooth, long-lasting operation. Mavic’s QRM Auto system with automatic bearing preload guarantees smooth bearing operation and perfectly adjusted bearing play without any adjustment effort. Developed, designed and tested in France. Mavic Instant Drive 360 Freehub Body

The Instant Drive 360 freehub system is super-light and ensures rapid power transfer with a mere 9-degree engagement angle. A large, non-contact rubber seal reduces friction. And a wide selection of axle stubs ensures compatibility with many mounting standards. The oversized aluminium axle and hardened aluminium freehub body save 40 g. Two pawls ensure fast and loss-free engagement. A radial seal guarantees low friction at high speeds and perfect water resistance. This freehub body is easy to convert and is available as an HG10 version for Shimano 8-11-speed / Sram 8-10-speed, Sram XD 11- and 12-speed, and Shimano 12-speed Micro Spline.
