The name E-Deemax has become a benchmark in the e-MTB scene – and the new E-Deemax 30 lives up to this reputation by offering numerous features and technologies found on higher-end models, whilst also hitting an extremely attractive price point. One of the top features is our Pinch Flat Protection (PFP) technology, where the contact surface of the rim flanges is so large that the risk of cuts and punctures to the tyre is significantly reduced. For greater reliability, the rims are welded. Thanks to a 30 mm rim width and tubeless-ready compatibility, it can be ridden with lower tyre pressure to further enhance traction and control.

Mavic E Deemax Disc rims:

The wide rims with a 30 mm rim width are very laterally stiff thanks to their asymmetrical spoke pattern. The rims, specially developed for use on e-bikes, are ultra-stable. The rim flanges are highly puncture-resistant thanks to Pinch Flat Protection technology. Thanks to the asymmetrical rim design, braking and drive forces are absorbed evenly, which increases the service life. The E Deemax 30 rims are suitable for UST, tubeless tyres, Tubeless Ready tyres and standard tyres with an additional inner tube.

Mavic E Deemax Applications:

E-bikes, All Mountain, Trail, Enduro and DH. Suitable for use with disc brakes only. Approved by Mavic for riders up to 180 kg. These wheelsets can be used with genuine UST tyres, tubeless-ready tyres and standard tyre-inner tube combinations.

Mavic E Deemax wheel technology:

• Mavic QRM Auto: Mavic’s top-of-the-range bearing technology: featuring a double seal and extremely dimensionally stable, self-aligning, and exceptionally torsionally rigid and durable, perfect for the long-lasting bearing assembly of Mavic hubs.
• Mavic UST Force rims: The rim profile with extra-reinforced spokes offers optimum durability. Universal Standard for Tubeless: More tyre grip for better control, no inner tube required: it sounds too good to be true. UST technology puts an end to inner tube punctures caused by overheated rims, reduces rolling resistance and prevents sudden air loss in the event of a puncture.
• Mavic SRS: Spoke Retention System. The spoke seats on the hub body are specially milled so that the spoke head remains firmly anchored even under extreme conditions. Yet the spoke still has enough play to remain sufficiently flexible on rough terrain. Spokes remain securely anchored even under the harshest frontal loads. The wheel still offers sufficient flexibility.
• Mavic Maxtal: This aluminium alloy, manufactured exclusively for Mavic, is 30 per cent stronger than 6106 aluminium. This means Maxtal rims can be super-light yet still sturdy.
• Mavic SUP: Soude Usine Process. A welded rim joint is more stable, prevents any brake judder and makes it easier to lace and true a perfect wheel.
