The Deemax Boost rear hub is supplied with a mount for 148x12 mm Boost thru-axle clamping. These Boost rear wheels are only compatible with frames featuring Boost 12x148 thru-axles. Compatible rear wheel dropouts:

The name E-Deemax

has become a benchmark in the e-MTB scene – and the new E-Deemax 30 lives up to this reputation by offering numerous features and technologies found on higher-end models, whilst also hitting an extremely attractive price point. One of the top features is our Pinch Flat Protection technology, PFP, in which the contact surface of the rim flanges is so large that the risk of cuts and punctures to the tyre is significantly reduced. For greater reliability, the rims are welded. Thanks to a 30 mm rim width and tubeless-ready compatibility, it can be ridden with lower tyre pressure to further enhance traction and control.

E-bikes, All Mountain, Trail, Enduro and DH. Suitable for use with disc brakes only. Approved by Mavic for riders up to 180 kg. These wheels can be used with genuine UST tyres, tubeless-ready tyres and standard tyre-inner tube combinations.

Mavic E Deemax rims:

The wide rims with a 30 mm rim width are very stiff laterally thanks to the asymmetrical spoke pattern. The rims, specially developed for use on e-bikes, are ultra-stable. The rim flanges are highly puncture-resistant thanks to Pinch Flat Protection technology. Thanks to the asymmetrical rim design, braking and drive forces are absorbed evenly, which increases the service life. The E Deemax rims are suitable for UST, tubeless tyres, tubeless-ready tyres and standard tyres with an additional inner tube.

Mavic Instant Drive 360 freehub body

The Instant Drive 360 freehub system is super-light and ensures rapid power transfer with an engagement angle of just 9 degrees. A large, contact-free rubber seal reduces friction. And a wide selection of axle ends ensures compatibility with many mounting standards. The oversized aluminium axle and the hardened aluminium freehub body save 40 g. Two pawls ensure fast and loss-free engagement. A radial seal guarantees low friction at high speeds and perfect water resistance. This freehub body is easy to convert and is available as an HG10 version for Shimano 8-11-speed / SRAM 8-10-speed, SRAM XD 11- and 12-speed, and Shimano 12-speed Micro Spline

• Mavic SRS: Spoke Retention System. The spoke seats on the hub body are specially milled to ensure the spoke head remains firmly anchored even under extreme conditions. Yet the spoke still has enough play to provide sufficient flexibility on rough terrain. Spokes remain securely anchored even under the harshest frontal loads. The wheel still offers sufficient flexibility.
• Mavic SUP: Soude Usine Process. A welded rim joint is more stable, prevents any brake judder and makes it easier to lace and true a perfect wheel.
• Pinch Flat Protection: the contact surface of the rim flanges is particularly large, significantly reducing the risk of cuts and punctures to the tyre.
