Stans Notubes M-Pulse Hub + Crest MK4 Rim
The lightweight cross-country rear wheel from NoTubes featuring the new M-Pulse hubs and the sturdy, ultra-lightweight Crest MK4 rims with a 25 mm rim width.
Stans Notubes M-Pulse Boost Hubs
The high-end hubs from Stans Notubes. The freehub body system of the new M-Pulse hub is based on the magnetic pawl design from Project321, manufactured in Oregon, USA. The M-Pulse hubs are equipped with six pawls featuring neodymium magnets and a bearing ring with 216 engagement points made from hardened stainless steel. The freehub body requires just a 1.66-degree turn to engage. The 17mm axles are made from 7075 aluminium and are fitted with high-quality Endurro Bearings. High-quality seals offer excellent protection and ensure a long hub life. The bearing play is adjustable.
Stans NoTubes Crest MK4 rim:
The legendary Crest rim is now even better. With a wider rim width and the proven low BST rim bed, the new Crest MK4 rim features a 25 mm rim width. With the WideRight System introduced by Stans NoTubes, the rim width increases to 25 millimetres, for even better tyre support and full volume development. Inspired by Stans carbon rims, the new rim profile, combined with the new 6069 aluminium alloy, increases lateral stiffness and impact resistance whilst reducing the risk of snake bites.
The Stans NoTubes rims are perfectly designed, thanks to special rim flanges for fitting tubeless tyres. Thanks to the wide rim bed, the tyre is guided superbly and offers the best rolling resistance.
Front hub Boost QR 15x110mm standard:
This new thru-axle standard requires new hubs. Compatible only with forks with a Boost 15x110 mm mounting dimension. The wider hub shell with the flanges positioned further out enables wheelsets with greater lateral stiffness. On Boost hubs, the brake disc mount is also positioned further out. Therefore, these hubs cannot be fitted to forks with a QR15x100 mm mounting dimension.
Boost QR12x148mm rear hub standard:
This new thru-axle standard requires new hubs. Only compatible with rear ends with a 12x148 mm mounting dimension. The wider hub shell with the flanges positioned further out allows for wheels with greater lateral stiffness. On Boost hubs, the brake disc mount is also positioned further out. Boost hubs can only be used with a 148 mm mounting dimension.
Notubes BST
Notubes’ Bead Socket Technology. This special rim design features a wide rim bed with a low flange for high tyre stability and full tyre volume development. The BST technology helps retain air better in tubeless systems, resulting in less rotating mass and a virtually increased effective rim width compared to competitors. A wide rim also reduces tyre flex in corners and allows the tyre to be ridden at lower pressures. The ZTR rims are fully tubeless-compatible when used with rim tape and a valve.
Stan Notubes spokes:
The black stainless steel spokes used by Stan’s are highly durable and offer the possibility of easy repair or replacement should the need arise.
Stan’s NoTube Tubeless
Stan’s yellow rim tape and special NoTubes valves are included
