Zipp rim tape

The third key factor – alongside the inner tube and tyre – for puncture protection. This is because the rim tape effectively protects the inner tube from mechanical damage, such as from spoke heads or metal burrs in the rim, and covers the holes in the spoke openings. Choosing the right rim tape is particularly important for tyres ridden at high air pressure (max. 7 bar). With a thickness of 0.5 mm, it is particularly thin.
