385 grams, 35 mm rim height, elliptical wind tunnel-optimised rim shape, Cult Ceramic bearings – the high-end Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO wheelsets with a wide range of applications. Thanks to the ultra-lightweight materials and high-quality engineering components, you can tackle climbs faster and react more effectively. This wheel is manufactured using Campagnolo’s H.U.L.C. process to optimise the profile and the amount of carbon fibre and resin used, thereby ensuring greater stability and control. Finally, the C-LUX finish provides a naturally glossy surface without the need for painting. The undrilled 2 Way Fit rims are tubeless-ready.

Climbers will love the light weight of the Bora Ultra WTO 35, which helps them tackle climbs even faster, change pace instantly and descend very quickly and safely. The rims, handcrafted by Campagnolo from ultra-lightweight carbon (HULC), feature a high-gloss Luxury finish (C-LUX) and non-drilled 2-Way Fit rim channels for perfect tyre compatibility without the need for rim tape.

The beautifully shaped VR hub body is hourglass-shaped to improve aerodynamics and is securely attached to an aluminium flange. Integrated spoke seats ensure perfect alignment, while concealed Aero Mo-Mag nipples and elliptical, tapered Aero spokes with G3 lacing further enhance performance, and USB ceramic bearings promise a virtually frictionless ride.

The Bora WT0 wheelsets are assembled entirely by hand by a Campagnolo specialist and 100 per cent tested using electronically controlled instruments. This process ensures maximum performance and reliability for all Campagnolo wheelsets

Campagnolo Bora WTO Ultra hubs:

The Bora Ultra WTO, featuring monolithic rear hub bodies and carbon front hub bodies, are designed with aerodynamics in mind and feature an enlarged 33 mm pawl housing for even more efficient power transfer. The hub flange on the right-hand side of the rear wheel has an increased diameter to enhance lateral stiffness. This enables uniform spoke tension, thereby significantly increasing durability. Adjustable ceramic ball bearings are used for the bearings. Thanks to external adjustment options, the hubs are easy to adjust and maintain. The new Bora hubs also require new freehub bodies, OS 33 mm.

Campagnolo CULT Ceramic Hub Bearings:

CERAMIC ULTIMATE LEVEL TECHNOLOGY. The legendary CULT ceramic bearings for Campagnolo road bike wheelsets are fitted only to the finest hubs and cranksets and represent a significant advancement compared to other bearings on the market. Thanks to their characteristics, developed as part of a special Campagnolo project, CULT bearings exhibit a very low level of friction, which maximises performance and saves energy during pedalling. The high-quality ceramic balls, with high roundness and durability, rotate in polymer ball cages on extremely wear-resistant stainless steel grooves. These cages are designed with tolerances accurate to the micrometre, maximising efficiency and service life. CULT bearings do not deform or corrode, ensuring consistent performance and product quality over time. Maintenance requires only regular cleaning and light lubrication with synthetic oil. CULT bearings have a 40% lower coefficient of friction than standard sealed ball bearings and, in tests, can rotate 5½ times longer. CULT ceramic bearings are available for Campagnolo’s most renowned road bike wheelsets: Bora Ultra WTO, Ghibli and Hyperon Ultra.

Campagnolo Bora WTO 35 rims 2 Way Fit:

On the Bora Ultra, the spoke nipples are mounted on the inside for even better aerodynamics. This saves a few extra watts. 2 Way Fit, Campagnolo’s proven tubeless system, forms the heart of the new wheelsets, specially developed to achieve perfect aerodynamics. The new full-carbon rims of the Bora WTO wheelsets, 28.4 mm wide, with a 23 mm rim width and 35 mm height, ensure outstanding aerodynamics. The modern resin and carbon fibre technologies developed in-house by Campagnolo enable the spoke holes to be drilled. This preserves the integrity of the Campagnolo carbon fibre, improves safety and consequently guarantees the reliability of the rim. Among other things, these technologies not only guarantee the durability of the carbon and colour fastness thanks to high resistance to UV rays, but also make the subsequent application of a transparent coating unnecessary, as Campagnolo’s carbon wheels come straight from the mould with a resin coating that replaces the paintwork, thereby reducing weight. The carbon fibre construction with integrated Rim Dynamic Balance technology ensures an even more efficient wheel and adds a structural counterweight to what would otherwise be an unbalanced rotating mass caused by the tyre valve.

Campagnolo H.U.L.C.:

Handmade Ultra-Light Carbon is Campagnolo’s exclusive technology for manufacturing carbon rims, which optimises the ratio of carbon fibre to resin to increase stiffness and control. A distinctive feature of Campagnolo’s high-end wheelsets. It is a further development of Campagnolo’s exclusive, patented carbon moulding process, which enables the production of rims without defects and without additional layers of paint. Optimising the ratio of carbon fibre to resin guarantees a reduction in weight and unprecedented dimensional accuracy of the safety elements of the 2-Way Fit rim (spoke holes, hooks and humps). H.U.L.C. technology is used on the Bora Ultra WTO, Hyperon Ultra, Shamal and Ghibli road bike wheelsets and the Levante gravel wheelsets.

Hooked / Crotchet tubeless TC:

Hook or Crotchet refers to the shape of the rim flange, which features a so-called hook. This aids in securing the tyre bead and ensures reliable performance, even when using high tyre pressure (> 5 bar). Tubeless means that the rim can be ridden without an inner tube, although a setup with an inner tube is also possible.

Campagnolo Bora G3 spokes:

Elliptical stainless steel aero spokes and anti-rotation aluminium spoke nipples offer high stiffness, lightness and aerodynamics. The G3 lacing pattern ensures perfectly balanced spoke tension and allows the Bora wheelsets to be used by heavier riders. Campagnolo’s iconic G3 geometry challenges the conventional spoke configuration for road bike wheelsets. Groups of three parallel straight-head spokes are arranged in a 2:1 ratio. Thanks to the double number of spokes on one side, wheels featuring G3 technology achieve perfect tension balance, which increases stiffness and improves power transfer. An iconic design, unique in its style, which contributes to improved load-bearing capacity and reduces weight. The G3 lacing pattern also has a positive effect on the riding experience: the original triplet pattern reduces perceived vibrations and minimises micro-deformations of the rim under tension, as well as its reaction to the stresses of the road. The G3 geometry has been developed with optimised solutions for the front and rear wheels. The front wheel has a greater number of spokes on the disc side to absorb braking loads. On the rear wheel, however, the same forces are transmitted to the spokes via the monolithic hub shell, which are doubled on the cassette side: an innovation that facilitates performance both during braking and power transmission whilst pedalling.

Campagnolo Aero Mo-Mag:

Campagnolo’s innovative Mo-Mag system allows the nipples to be positioned inside the rim using a magnet, without the need to drill additional holes in the channel, offering the most user-friendly and secure compatible tubeless system on the market. Aero Mo-Mag goes one step further with a completely internal, concealed system that maximises aerodynamics and enables the construction of a lighter rim: a true carbon monolith with a single fibre connection. The internal seats of the glass-fibre-reinforced polymer nipples are specifically designed for each rim-and-hub combination: This ensures perfect alignment of the spokes and nipples and significantly reduces stress on each component. Any adjustment to spoke tension can also be carried out in the conventional manner using the Torx tool supplied with the wheelsets.
