Thanks to a 21 mm rim width, they are ideal for tyre widths of 25–35 mm

The Hyperon wheelsets are manufactured using Campagnolo’s exclusive H.U.L.C. (Handmade Ultra-Light Carbon) technology, Campagnolo’s proprietary method for producing carbon rims, which ensures optimal sizing of the rims and the ratio between carbon fibres and resin, thereby contributing to greater stiffness and strength. Campagnolo’s engineers have determined 37 mm to be the optimal profile height for a design that promotes agility and allows for quick and responsive changes of pace, enabling fast and effortless climbs. The 21 mm internal rim width offers extreme stiffness and further weight savings. The asymmetrical rear rim profile provides optimal stress management. The front wheel has been laced with 14 elliptical spokes on the left for maximum braking stability and 7 elliptical spokes on the right for excellent propulsion efficiency.

Tubular wheels:

The wheels of the pros. Tubular tyres, not to be confused with tubeless, refer to tyres with an inner tube sewn into them. The tubular tyres are glued to the rims. This significantly reduces the weight of the rims due to the absence of rim flanges; it also prevents the tyres from puncturing thanks to the lack of rim flanges and offers very good run-flat properties. The gluing process using traditional tubular tyre glue is relatively labour-intensive. Several layers of glue must be applied to the rim and tyre, and the tyre must then be glued to the rim. Correct positioning and alignment of the tyre requires a great deal of practice and experience. For the pros, this is usually done by the mechanic in charge. The simpler solution is tubular tyre tape. We recommend Tufo tape. This makes gluing and aligning the tyre relatively quick and easy. Tubeless sealant is a good choice for additional puncture protection.
