DT Swiss Dicut ARC 1100 wheelset

The second generation of DT Swiss ARC 1100 Dicut wheels for classic rim brakes, featuring the new EXP freehub system; the high-end aero wheelset with Sinc ceramic bearings for marathon, road bikes, triathlon and time trials. The 80 mm high and 28 mm wide elliptical full-carbon aero rims allow the use of wide, excellent-rolling tubeless tyres; the asymmetrical design provides very high lateral stiffness for maximum steering precision. The DT Swiss ARC 1100 Dicut 80 wheels are lightweight, weighing just 1708 grams; the high-end DT Swiss Dicut hubs are fitted with DT Swiss Sinc Ceramic bearings. Finally, the patented ratchet system guarantees durability and easy maintenance of the wheelset. DT Swiss ARC 1100 Dicut hubs:

The ARC Dicut hubs are perfectly matched to the Nail Häd spoke system and offer optimum aerodynamics. Equipped with high-end Sinc Ceramic bearings and a widened flange spacing for optimum lateral stiffness at low weight. The ratchet body with Ratchet Star pawl is virtually maintenance-free and easy to convert.

DT Swiss Sinc Ceramic Bearings:

The high-end ceramic bearings from DT Swiss, specially optimised for DT Swiss hubs, offer maximum smoothness and minimal weight. In a special manufacturing process, the balls are rolled until their surface exhibits perfect roundness. Whilst the surface of conventional ceramic balls is not 100 per cent smooth, SINC Ceramic balls exhibit extremely high smoothness and, thanks to their perfect roundness, achieve extremely low rolling resistance. By combining these ceramic balls with high-quality steel bearing cups, the full potential of the bearings can be realised.

DT Swiss ARC 1100 Dicut rims:

The ARC 1100 carbon rims, developed entirely in collaboration with Swiss Side, offer the best aerodynamics and excellent handling in all wind conditions. Extensively tested and optimised in the wind tunnel, the ARC 1100 rims offer the best compromise between aerodynamics and handling. The finish is applied using a new process and does not affect aerodynamics in any way. With a 17 mm inner rim width, they are ideal for tyres from 25 mm wide and, of course, tubeless-ready.

DT Swiss ARC 1100 Dicut spokes:

The lacing using the Nail Head System ensures that the spokes cannot twist under load, so the spokes always remain at the most aerodynamically favourable angle. Flatter and lighter than any others, the DT Swiss Aerolite spokes feature an aerodynamic flat profile and are extremely lightweight. The rear wheels of the ARC Dicut wheelsets are fitted with the slightly heavier and even more stable DT Aerocomp spokes.

DT Swiss EXP Star Ratchet Freehub:

The proven DT Swiss Star Ratchet System in the new EXP version, featuring a toothed disc freehub body, allows for easy conversion to various axle or rotor standards. The integration of the toothed disc and threaded ring reduces the number of components and thus lowers the weight. A single coil spring ensures faster, complete engagement and therefore greater reliability.

The DT Swiss Star Ratchet EXP rear hubs can be easily converted to fit standard mountings: 10x135 quick-release, 12x135, and 12x142 mm X12 thru-axle mountings. The new end caps with an even more precise fit ensure even greater durability. The rear hubs can be converted to Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, Campagnolo ED and Campagnolo N3W freehub bodies without tools.
