Shimano WH-RX010 wheelset

The perfect blend of technology and attractive design: the WH-RX05. A Centre Lock-compatible disc brake wheelset for road bikes and cyclocross bikes in proven Shimano quality.

Sturdy alloy rim with a 24mm profile, 28 stainless steel spokes at the front and rear, black rim and spokes, and a Centre Lock brake disc mount. Shimano also uses exclusively bearings with angled ball races in the WH-RX010 wheelsets. These have the advantage of withstanding lateral forces. The asymmetrical rim increases the rear wheel’s load-bearing capacity and allows for a less steep angle of the drive-side spokes, resulting in more even spoke tension. This makes the wheel significantly more stable.
