Disc brake pads, Swiss Stop Disc27 ExoTherm2 with cooling fins, 1 pair including springs and split pins, for Shimano Saint, Zee, SLX, XT and XTR disc brakes with four-piston calipers
Disc Brake Pads SwissStop Disc 27 EXOTherm2
SwissStop Exotherm disc pads with cooling fins and an aluminium backing plate, for optimal heat dissipation, minimal fading and maximum service life. The cooling fins reduce the temperature in the pistons, pads and discs, thereby minimising brake fade.

IMPORTANT: The brake pads must be bedded in to achieve optimum braking power and durability
Step 1: On a moderately steep descent, apply the front and rear brakes alternately for 20–30 seconds. Repeat
this process 2–3 times.
Step 2: On a steeper descent, apply both brakes alternately for 10–15 seconds at a time, stopping the bike almost completely. Repeat
this process 2–3 times.
Pro tip: Break in the rear brake pads on the front wheel. Follow the procedure described above. Then fit the pads to the rear. On a flat surface, let them run briefly 2–3 times. Caution: Before replacing the pads, ensure they have cooled down sufficiently: risk of burns!
