Shimano SMRT86 Ice Tech brake disc

The Shimano XT SM-RT-86 Ice Tec 6-hole brake discs on the 5-star aluminium hub are manufactured using a sandwich construction. The aluminium core is encased by the steel braking surface. This reduces heat build-up by a good 25 per cent and increases the durability of the XT disc brake. The new XT brake discs come with a new bolt set.

This Ice Tech brake disc is compatible with all Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and is particularly recommended when the XTR Disc BRM985 and BRM988 are combined with wheelsets that have a 6-hole brake disc mount.
