The Catalyst Pro is available in various sizes and is suitable for all applications, from road and cyclocross to cross-country and downhill. The two-piece construction, comprising an aluminium spider and a stainless steel friction ring, ensures an ideal balance between low weight, reliable heat management and rotor stiffness. Consequently, the brake disc was awarded the ‘Best of 2021’ award by ‘world of mtb’ magazine. The friction ring thickness is specifically optimised for each diameter. Three small holes on each side of the rotor indicate when the minimum thickness of 1.6 mm has been reached and the brake disc should be replaced.
