Magura’s new heavy-duty disc brakes, the Clara Pro, as a set with the MDR-C CL Disc Centerlock brake discs. Low-maintenance, powerful and exceptionally stable – that’s the Clara Pro disc brake. Cargo bikes, S-pedelecs and SUV bikes are slowed down and brought to a safe and reliable halt, even with loads of up to 250 kg.

Designed to meet the demands of heavy city and cargo bikes, the CLARA brake lever offers versatile ergonomics with a ball-end design. Easier bleeding and alignment of the brake caliper thanks to reliable pad retraction and an optional bleed valve. EASY LINK for faster and cleaner hose connections. The solid brake calipers and extra-large brake pads ensure consistent performance without overheating – even under heavy loads on cargo or city bikes.

Magura MDR-C brake disc

Thanks to the additional connecting element, this one-piece, e-bike-optimised brake disc is particularly stiff, vibration-resistant and the ideal all-rounder. The ideal brake discs for e-bike, DH and all-mountain use of Magura disc brakes under high loads. High stability, heat resistance and low wear are ensured by a special steel alloy and the more robust construction. The thickness of the Magura discs, at just 2 mm, ensures minimal pad wear and a silent ride with maximum stability

Magura Easy Link hose connection:

Plug-and-play for your brake line: the quick and flexible way to disconnect and connect a line. And as often as you like. From model year 2025 onwards, EASY LINK is integrated into the GUSTAV, Clara and Louise brakes and is also available as a retrofit valve for MAGURA MT disc brakes. Once routed, you can simply click brake lines into the brake lever using EASY LINK. No need for bleeding or other steps! Thanks to EASY LINK, the GUSTAV PRO’s brake caliper and lever can be shipped separately and pre-filled. This makes replacement easier in the event of a fault or crash.

Magura Royal Blood:

Magura continues to rely on high-performance mineral oil as the brake fluid. It is completely harmless to health in the event of skin contact and, as it does not absorb water over time like DOT fluid, bleeding intervals are significantly longer. For optimal performance, bleeding is required every 6–12 months, depending on frequency of use.

The Magura disc brake is supplied with post-mount calipers.

You can select the appropriate adapter for your frame and brake disc size. Currently, almost all frames use the PM standard.

IS 2000: Side mounting. An adapter is always required to fit the Magura MT7; maximum 203 mm, minimum 160 mm at the fork and 140 mm disc size at the frame. Common on older suspension forks and almost all rear triangle frames

Post Mount, PM5: Direct mounting of the Magura MT7 with 140 mm brake discs without an adapter. Maximum 180 mm, minimum 140 mm disc size. Currently found only on rear triangle frames

Post Mount, PM6: Direct mounting of the Magura MT7 with 160 mm brake discs without an adapter. Maximum 203 mm, minimum 160 mm on the fork and 140 mm disc size on the frame. Currently the most common standard on forks, and on some rear triangle frames.

Post Mount, PM7: Direct mounting of the Magura MT7 with 180mm brake discs without an adapter. Maximum 203mm, minimum 180mm disc size. 140mm and 160mm disc sizes are not possible. Found on some enduro suspension forks such as the Magura Thor and on some rear triangle frames such as the Liteville 301.

Post Mount, PM8: Direct mounting without an adapter for the Magura MT7 with 203mm brake discs. Can only be used with 203mm and 220mm brake discs. Found only on downhill suspension forks and frames
