Campagnolo brakes, direct mount dual pivot, front wheel, black
These Direct Mount brakes, which are not integrated into a specific groupset, are recommended for the Campagnolo Chorus, Athena, Velace and Potenza groupsets. The Campagnolo brakes in the Direct Mount version are compatible with all standard shift-brake levers and brake levers, including those from other manufacturers. Please note that these brakes require special forks or frames witha Direct Mount brake mount. Stiffness, robustness and weight savings are the main features of these brakes. Thanks to the new Direct Mount geometry, the weight has been reduced without compromising braking power. Reliability is fully maintained. Differentiated geometry between the front and rear brakes ensures performance and modulation.
Compatibility
Unlike traditional rim brakes, Direct Mount brakes are mounted to the frame using two bolts. This mounting method requires two threaded holes in the frame to accommodate the brakes. For the rear brake, there are two different mounting points: on the seat tube stays and beneath the bottom bracket/chainstays. Different brakes are required for these two mounting points.
