Jagwire Road Elite Link Brake Cable Set

Jagwire’s Konkavex cable system offers a number of advantages over conventional cable systems.

You will particularly notice the difference compared to conventional cables in the braking systems. The bite point is much more defined and the power transmission is greater. The outer casing consists of many individual parts, aluminium outer casings and tubes. The tubes taper concavely at the ends and thus fit perfectly onto the outer casings. Outer casings and tubes are threaded onto a glass-fibre-reinforced Teflon tube. The inner cable then runs through this. The advantage of this system is that the outer cable is completely free from stretching and compression. The power transmission is almost equivalent to that of a hydraulic system. Furthermore, it is possible to route the cables with tight bends without increasing friction within the system. The Jagwire cable systems are supplied ready for installation.
