The Mini 3 Pro headlight from Supernova offers low beam, the new daytime running mode and an even brighter high beam. Now also available for e-bikes with MonkeyLink compatibility. Can only be fitted to bikes with a MonkeyLink stem or handlebar clamp. Not compatible with MonkeyLink 2.0

The SUPERNOVA MINI 3 PRO MonkeyLink is one of Supernova’s smallest headlights that can be mounted using the MonkeyLink system. In addition to the dipped beam, the MINI 3 PRO MonkeyLink now also features a very distinctive daytime running light and a high beam, meaning its light output is more than double that of the dipped beam. Cornering illumination is also significantly improved. The headlight clicks into place on the compatible MonkeyLink stem in no time at all. The new Terraflux 5 lens ensures very uniform illumination and produces a particularly eye-friendly light pattern for hours of night riding.
MonkeyLink
MonkeyLink is a revolutionary new connection standard for mechanical and electrical accessories on e-bikes. MonkeyLink establishes the connection between the bike and the attachment almost automatically – magnetically, quickly, easily and intuitively. Lighting components on the e-bike are powered by the battery and can be controlled via the display. This means the light can be fitted in no time at all, without having to plug in a cable. This makes retrofitting and converting lighting on MonkeyLink-ready bikes a breeze.
Terralux 5 lens
TERRAFLUX 5 technology ensures powerful yet eye-friendly lighting. The wide beam pattern provides excellent illumination – in the near field as well as to the sides and towards the horizon. An increased beam angle allows the light to cover the outer edges of the illuminated area even better, thereby illuminating bends more brightly. Thanks to the smooth transitions, however, the light is distributed very evenly and is gentle on the eyes.The improved performance across all areas compared to earlier TERRAFLUX models is achieved by 200 high-precision micro-optics. These form part of a main lens, which is integrated with further lenses into a multi-stage optical system. Only in this way can the light from the LED emitters be optimally distributed to the desired areas of use.
Aluminium housing
For our housings, we use aerospace-grade aluminium because it is not only extremely sturdy but also has excellent thermal conductivity. The better the cooling, the brighter the LED. Cooling fins on the housings increase the surface area, allowing heat to be dissipated more effectively. Furthermore, the housings are salt-water-resistant anodised and can withstand the harshest conditions. Extreme tests carried out in all seasons and climate zones by ultracycling athletes using Supernova lighting demonstrate its outstanding reliability and durability.
LED Cooling
Maximum performance with the best possible efficiency is our credo. The enormous brightness levels of our headlight systems can only be achieved through sophisticated cooling of the high-performance LEDs. Because: the better an LED is cooled, the brighter it shines. Good cooling also significantly extends the service life. Careful material selection and sophisticated design are among the most important prerequisites for ideal heat dissipation. Completely uninterrupted heat dissipation can, for example, only be achieved through a housing seamlessly manufactured from a single piece of aluminium. In extreme situations, an integrated heat sensor also ensures the headlamp always remains within the optimum temperature range. Through computationally intensive computer simulations, our engineers identify the most suitable method for dissipating heat from the LEDs at an early stage.
