The Shimano XTR 11-speed cassette CS-M9000 with 11-40 teeth is the cassette with the widest gear range that Shimano has ever brought to market. At the same time, it is also the most carefully graduated. Thanks to the Rhythm Step sprocket spacing, it enables precisely calculated gear changes without large, noticeable jumps or gaps, which saves power and energy and helps maintain flow on the trail in all situations.
Shimano XTR 9000 Cassette Compatibility:
The new Shimano 11-speed cassette from the XTR series is only compatible with XTR 11-speed shifting components. The HG-900 chain is recommended. The 11-speed XTR cassettes are also compatible with 9-10-speed Shimano-compatible freehub bodies. Required freehub body depth: 40 mm
