Stronglight Osymetric chainring

When using conventionally shaped chainrings, a rider must constantly adjust the force applied during a crank rotation in order to maintain a constant acceleration. The non-circular shape of the O.Symetric chainrings is designed to counteract this. The special shape evens out the force required at different crank positions, enabling a smoother pedalling motion. The result is a smoother pedalling motion, which reduces strain on the rider and frees up capacity for greater power output.

The Stronglight chainrings are specially designed for the Shimano Ultegra FC6800 and Dura-Ace FC9000 cranksets; due to the asymmetrical 4-bolt pattern, this chainring is only compatible with these cranksets
