TA Specialite Alize chainring, 130mm bolt circle, double-sided, designed as a small chainring, 42 teeth, silver
TA Specialite Alize 2-speed chainring
The 130 mm bolt pattern is the classic Shimano road bike bolt pattern for cranksets with the Race sprocket set. The smallest chainring that can be fitted is a 38-tooth model, whilst the largest can be up to 60 teeth. This bolt pattern is also used on Sram, FSA and other road bike cranksets. Only Campagnolo uses chainrings with the 135 mm bolt pattern. Current road bike cranksets often feature an asymmetrical bolt pattern, meaning the classic Alize chainrings cannot be fitted.
Compatible with 8-, 9- and 10-speed road bike cranksets:
The chainrings are designed for 9-speed chains, but can also be used without any problems with 8- and 10-speed chains and cranksets. On the crankset, the spacing between the chainrings is determined by the crank arms. Therefore, it does not matter whether you use 8-speed, 9-speed or 10-speed chainrings.
Please note that the difference in tooth count between individual chainrings should not exceed 14 teeth. Otherwise, you will have to accept a reduction in shifting performance.
To determine the bolt circle diameter, please measure the distance between two adjacent holes (centre-to-centre) and multiply this value by 1.7. This will give you the bolt circle diameter.
