TA Specialite Alize K chainring, 130mm bolt circle, conversion kit as middle chainring 38 teeth silver with mounting for small chainring 74 Lk
TA Specialite Alize K Chainring Conversion Kit 2–3-speed
This chainring allows a third chainring to be fitted to 2-speed road bike cranksets with a 130 mm bolt circle. The mount for the small chainring has a 74 mm bolt circle.
Not compatible with modern 2-speed road bike cranksets with an integrated axle such as Shimano Hollowtech II, FSA Megaexo or Sram GXP. However, this kit can be used with Shimano 3-speed Hollowtech II cranksets such as the FC7803 or FC 6603.
The 130 mm bolt circle is the classic Shimano road bike bolt circle for cranksets with the Race sprocket set. A 38-tooth chainring can be fitted as the smallest, whilst the largest can have up to 60 teeth. This bolt circle is also used on Sram, FSA and other road bike cranksets. Only Campagnolo uses chainrings with a 135 mm bolt circle.
Compatible with 8-, 9- and 10-speed road bike cranksets:
The chainrings are designed for 9-speed chains, but can also be used without any problems with 8- and 10-speed chains and cranksets. On the cranksets, the distance between the chainrings is determined by the crank arms. Therefore, it does not matter whether you use 8-speed, 9-speed or 10-speed chainrings.
Please note that the difference in tooth count between individual chainrings should not exceed 14 teeth. Otherwise, you will experience reduced shifting performance.
To determine the bolt circle diameter, please measure the distance between two adjacent holes (centre-to-centre) and multiply this value by 1.7. This will give you the bolt circle diameter.
