Wolf Tooth Drop Stop ST Chainring

This single-chainring has been specially developed for converting XT M8000, SLX M7000 and Deore M6000 cranksets with an asymmetrical 96 mm bolt pattern. This allows existing chainring combinations to be converted to a single-chainring drivetrain, saving weight and creating a clean, uncluttered look. The chainring is made from high-strength 7075 T6 aluminium, making it particularly durable and lightweight. It is compatible withall 12-speed Shimano HG+ chains.

Wolf Tooth Drop Stop ST technology:

Wolf Tooth’s patented Drop Stop ST narrow-wide tooth profile offers the ultimate chain guidance and self-cleaning for Shimano HG+ 12-speed chains. The right-hand side of the tooth is as wide as possible to maximise the contact area with the chain. More contact area means that the load is distributed over a larger surface, which in turn reduces wear. The left side of the tooth is narrower than the chain’s roller pin, so Wolf Tooth has removed excess material to create a channel allowing dirt to drain away. More contact area and space, in turn, means a lower likelihood of the chain dropping off due to dirt whilst riding.
