KMC X FLAT pre-waxed chain

KMC chains feature a very slim design, known as ‘lean construction’. In addition to being lighter in weight, this design offers exceptionally smooth running and fewer chain jams. The Double X-Durability treatment involves a process in which all parts of the chain are specially hardened. This treatment makes the pins, in particular, highly resistant to dust and sand, significantly extending the chain’s lifespan. They are extremely light, incredibly durable and very easy to fit with the MissingLink 12. Flat-top chains have been specially developed for modern 12-/13-speed drivetrains from SRAM and are characterised by their distinctive flat top. This design allows for a narrower chain; Flat-Top chains are exclusively compatible with SRAM’s 12-/13-speed AXS drivetrains or Transmission/T-Type systems. They cannot be used with other 12-/13-speed systems or older SRAM groupsets.
