This system enables closer gear spacing and more efficient power transmission. The CN-HG54 is a direction-specific 10-speed chain, which guarantees optimal shifting. The outer links are optimised for smooth shifting on the chainrings, whilst the inner links ensure clean shifting on the cassette. The specially shaped outer links of this Hyperglide chain provide excellent dirt resistance. The grey finish further emphasises the high-quality design of this chain!

The Shimano SLX chain for the new 10-speed Dyna-Sys MTB series. For perfect shifting performance, the chain is directional; the inner links are specially shaped for fast and smooth shifting. The special asymmetrical HG-X10 outer and inner links, combined with Shimano’s SIL-TEC surface coating, minimise friction, optimise performance and also reduce dirt adhesion.
