Shimano XT SM-CRM81 chainring

The XT 11-speed single-chainring chainrings feature a special tooth profile that reliably prevents the chain from jumping off or running over. The XT chainrings, made from steel and carbon fibre-reinforced plastic, are designed for maximum durability

The Shimano XT FCM 8000 cranksets have an asymmetrical bolt pattern of 64/96 mm. Therefore, the SM-CRM81 chainrings are only compatible with the XT FCM8000 cranksets. Although the XTR 11-speed cranksets have the same bolt pattern, they have a different chainline. With the XTR chainrings, the XT SM-CRM81 chainrings can only be fitted using additional spacer rings.
