The Shimano Dura-Ace FC 7800-C carbon crankset with 52/39-tooth chainring configuration, 172.5 mm length, 2009 model.
Announced 1 1/2 years ago and already seen sporadically at trade fairs, the new Dura-Ace Hollowtech II Carbon Crankset FC 7800-C. Now available in a limited edition, only in a 172.5 mm length.
The Shimano Dura Ace Carbon Crankset FC 7800 C is exceptionally beautiful and elegantly finished; at 668 grams including the bottom bracket, it is the lightest crankset in the Shimano range. The hollow carbon crank arms are also extremely stiff and aerodynamically shaped. The chainrings are designed to match the new Dura Ace Group 7900 and are fully compatible with this group.
This limited-edition and exclusive carbon crankset comes with an SM-BB7900 BSA bottom bracket and a personalised certificate. Featuring the serial numbers of both crank arms and the signature of Bernhard Lange, Managing Partner of Paul Lange + Co. OHG, this certificate guarantees authenticity and exclusivity.
