Shimano XT RD-M8100 rear derailleur:
The XT RDM 8100 SGS long cage rear derailleur for use with Shimano 12-speed cassettes in 10-45 and 10-51 tooth configurations and a single chainring. The XT Shadow Plus 8100 rear derailleur shifts with extreme precision, speed and smoothness. The new, slimmer design and extremely precise machined fits ensure high shifting precision and a long service life. With the ability to adjust the friction damper as desired via a screw mechanism, the system can be tuned to prioritise maximum stability or minimal operating force. Furthermore, the rear derailleur features an even slimmer profile, which protects it from damage and further reduces operating force thanks to the flat angle of engagement.
Shimano XT SL-M8100 Rapidfire shift lever:
The XT Rapidfire 12-speed SL-M8100 shifters are available for I-Spec EV direct mounting on current Shimano disc brakes with I-Spec EV mounts or for classic mounting with a handlebar clamp. Operating forces have been reduced by 35 per cent thanks to a modified gear ratio combined with lower cage tension at the rear derailleur. However, thanks to a redesigned internal mechanism, the M8100 shifter shifts 20 per cent faster, allowing the rider to react even more quickly to changing road conditions. The shifters feature a dual-textured, non-slip surface and are equipped with all the latest high-end technologies such as Multi-Release, Instant-Release and 2-Way-Release.
Shimano I Spec EV:
The new I-Spec version of the Shimano XTR shifters and brakes offers a wide adjustment range – 14 mm laterally and 60 degrees of rotation – ensuring optimal shifting ergonomics. With the I-Spec EV version, the shifter can be mounted on XTR M9100/9120 brake levers in a space-saving manner. Furthermore, mounting via the new standard offers a 14-millimetre lateral adjustment range, and the shifter can also be rotated by 60 degrees. The new I-Spec EV version is not compatible with older brakes.
Shimano XT FC-M8100/FC-M8120 crankset
The new Deore XT 1x12-speed crankset features – naturally – Shimano’s world-renowned Hollowtech II technology, amongst other things. For the chainrings, DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT+ technology, with its alternating wider and narrower teeth and specially precision-machined tooth profile, ensures that the chain is held securely on the chainring at the top, but is released just as easily, smoothly and quietly at the bottom as it runs down, guaranteeing both safety and efficiency. Thanks to the Direct-Mount attachment, the chainrings can also be fitted quickly and easily, allowing them to be swapped out rapidly for different riding scenarios. With 28, 30, 32, 34 and 36 teeth, there are five chainring options available for every terrain and every fitness level. The crankset is available in lengths of 165 mm, 170 mm, 175 mm and 180 mm, as well as in three versions: FC-M8100-1 for a 52 mm chainline; 172 mm Q-factor and mounting widths of 142 and 148 mm, FC-M8120-1 for a 55 mm chainline, 178 mm Q-factor and 148 mm O.L.D., and the Super Boost variant FC-M8130-1 for a 56.5 mm chainline, 181 mm Q-factor and 157 mm O.L.D.
Shimano XT SM-CRM85 chainring:
The Dynamic Chain Engagement Plus chainrings from the Shimano XT 12x1 series SM-CRM85. Available from 28 to 38 teeth. These chainrings are compatible with Standard, Boost and SuperBoost frames. The chainline is determined by the crankset.
Shimano Direct Mount chainring mount:
The new XT 1x12-speed cranksets now also feature the Shimano Direct Mount chainring mount. This allows the chainrings to be changed easily. The TL-FC41 tool is required for removing and fitting the chainring. The XT SM-CRM85 and XTR SM-CR95 chainrings can be used
Shimano Deore XT Brake Lever BL M8100:
The XT BLM 8000 brake levers, featuring a 1.5-finger lever for ergonomic handling, are suitable for Direct Mount and I-Spec EV shifters. The Shimano Deore XT brake levers operate both caliper versions with a single model and feature Shimano’s Servo-Wave technology. Furthermore, the free travel has been reduced once again, resulting in an even more direct response. The brake levers follow the design of the XTR brake levers and are also mounted at an angle rather than parallel to the handlebars, so that they are supported at a second point on the handlebars in addition to the clamp, making them significantly stiffer than before. For individual adjustment, the levers are equipped with a tool-free grip width adjustment and an adjustment option for the free travel.
Shimano Deore XT brake calipers BR M8100 / BR M8120:
The XT brake calipers always feature a Post Mount caliper and an adapter suited to the disc size and fork. The Deore XT brakes are available both as XC-specific two-piston brakes and as four-piston brakes for trail/enduro. The two-piston version features a similar design to the predecessor in the M8000 range, which is why the existing brake pads – G03A, J02A, J03A (resin) and G04S, J04C (metal) – will continue to be used here. The four-piston variant, on the other hand, is a completely new development, whose design is based on its big sister from the XTR M9100 series, with which it also shares the N03A resin pads with cooling fins and the N04C metal pads with cooling fins. It is also compatible with the D03S resin pads (without cooling fins) and D02S metal pads (without cooling fins).
Shimano XT CS-M8100 cassette:
The Shimano XT 12-speed CS-M9100 cassette is available with 11-45 teeth for racing, with close-ratio gearing, or with 10-51 teeth for maximum gear range. At the same time, it is also the most carefully spaced cassette and, thanks to Hyperglide+, shifts superbly even under load. The close spacing enables precisely calculated gear changes without large, noticeable jumps or gaps, which saves power and energy and helps maintain flow on the trail in all situations. The cassettes feature an aluminium spider construction; the two largest sprockets are also made of aluminium, whilst the remaining ten are made of steel, ensuring an excellent, balanced ratio of robustness and durability on the one hand, and low weight on the other.
Shimano XT CN-M8100 chain:
The chain is perfectly matched to 1x and 2x 12-speed Shimano MTB chainrings with Dynamic Chain Engagement+ (DCE+) tooth profiles. The XT HG chain has been completely redesigned and features even finer, precision-machined contact surfaces with the sprockets and chainrings, particularly on the inner links. Furthermore, the inner links are chrome-plated, making them even more durable whilst delivering outstanding shifting performance when shifting up or down.
