Shimano Saint Rapidfire SL M820 Shift Lever Spare Part

This shift lever cover is compatible with all SLM 820 shift levers and makes them suitable for I-Spec Type B mounting.

Shimano I-Spec mounting:

Shimano refers to the direct mounting of shift levers onto the brake levers as I-Spec. Using these replacement clamps, you can convert standard Saint SLM820 shift levers to the I-Spec mounting. This mounting system allows for space-saving installation of the shift levers directly onto the brake lever clamp. Shimano changed the I-Spec mount on the 2014 system to Type B. You can recognise this by the addition of the letter B to the lever designation. Older Shimano I-Spec shift levers can only be combined with the new I-Spec brake levers using the new I-Spec adapters: SM-SL98-B, SM-SL78-B and SM-SL82-B.
