Shimano DI2 EW-SD50 cable

The cable for the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 9070 and Ultegra Di2 6770 electronic systems.

The Di2 shifting components are connected to the SM-JC40 or SM-JC41 cable connectors via plug connections. Unlike the old Dura Ace 7970, the cables are two-core and have significantly thinner 5.1 mm plugs.

Plug-and-play functionality ensures easy connection of the cable sets, which are available in various lengths and are therefore suitable for virtually any frame shape. The system can be connected directly to a PC for system diagnostics or to reverse the shifting logic.

Compatible only with XTR 9070, Dura Ace 9070 and Ultegra 6770 Di2 shifting components,

Four cables are required to install the Di2 system, connecting the rear derailleur, front derailleur, battery and control unit to the cable connector. An optional fifth cable is required for connecting to a PC.
