Campa Chorus 12s crankset

The full-carbon Campagnolo Chorus 12s crankset with stainless steel bearings and Ultra Torque axle technology is available in three configurations: 48/32 teeth, 50/34 teeth and 52/36 teeth. Weighing just 728 grams, it is only marginally heavier than the Record crankset, even though the focus has been on stability.

Designed for road to gravel use, the new Campagnolo Chorus components cover a very wide range of applications with three crankset options, from classic road racing to gravel biking. Equipped with the technology of the Record 12-speed components, the Chorus offers a high-quality and affordable entry point into the Campagnolo 12-speed drivetrain world.

Campagnolo Chorus 12x2-speed crankset

The robust Chorus 12x2-speed crankset can be fitted to all frame models, whether equipped with disc brakes or other types of brakes, as it optimises the chainline on frames with a rear dropout width of 130, 135 or 142 mm without compromising the Q-factor, which remains at 145.5 mm. The new Chorus crankset is a true distillation of technology and versatility. It is technically advanced because it utilises construction technology with a unidirectional arrangement of carbon fibres, which is obtained directly from the mould without a surface coating, and, like the Record crankset, uses the Ultra-Torque steel bottom bracket axle. It is versatile because its new 123 mm bolt circle, whilst offering a structure with extreme performance, ensures a wider range of applications. The new, reduced bolt circle of the Chorus crankset, available with crank arm lengths of 165, 170, 172.5 and 175 mm, makes it compatible with 52/36 and 50/34 chainrings and the latest 48/32 chainrings.

Campagnolo X-P.S.S.

Extreme Performance Shifting System for the chainrings. The exclusive design of the upshift and downshift zones. The special tooth profiles and the upshift and downshift zones enable precise and rapid derailleur shifting in all conditions. Also compatible with the electronic ESP drivetrain. The X.P.S.S. chainring design features 8 drive pins and shifting grooves for upshifting and two for downshifting. This system allows for effective, smooth and fast shifting between the chainrings. The chainring mounting system, whereby the chainring bolts are screwed directly into the small chainring, enables quick installation of the individual chainrings. It is lighter and makes this connection stable, rigid and secure. The chainrings are hard-anodised for improved wear resistance and resistance to salt corrosion. To save weight, the chainring bolts are made of aluminium.

The stainless steel deep-groove ball bearings ensure smooth operation and are included in the scope of delivery.

Campagnolo Ultra Torque

The Ultra Torque axle system consists of two axle halves that are screwed together via spur gears. This connection is extremely durable and easy to assemble. Bearing cups suitable for all common bottom bracket types are available for this axle system, from BSA thread to Pressfit 30

Compatibility:

Campagnolo has introduced a marking system for its 12-speed components to ensure optimal performance. The Chorus 12-speed cranksets feature the Campa marking ‘G’, compatible with Campagnolo 12-speed components marked ‘F’, ‘G’ or ‘FG’.
