The new Force chain is lighter, stronger and even more durable. Flattop technology creates a quieter, longer-lasting chain for long rides and countless gear changes. The Force chain is compatible with 12-speed road and 13-speed gravel cassettes.

Flattop technology enables a narrower chain with quieter operation as well as increased strength and durability; hard-chromed inner plates and rollers for reduced wear and a longer service life. Cut-outs in the inner and outer plates reduce weight. Compatible with 12-speed Road and 13-speed XPLR AXS Gravel groupsets.

SRAM PowerLock chain fastener:

SRAM’s chain engineers have developed PowerLock® as a tool-free, secure and consistent way to connect SRAM chains. Although no special tools are required for installation with PowerLock®, given the tight tolerance range of a 10-, 11- and 12-speed drivetrain, each PowerLock® can only be used once.

PowerLock chain fasteners are single-use only.
