Shimano 105 RD-R7000 rear derailleur

The Shimano 105 R7000 components feature the technology of the Dura Ace R9000 components, Shadow rear derailleur technology, new front derailleur mechanics, a lighter crankset and a wide range of gear ratios. Thanks to slightly simpler materials, Shimano offers affordable, lightweight and durable 11-speed road bike components with the same high-quality technology. The new 105 11-speed drivetrain allows the bike to be tuned for specific uses through various gear ratios.

105 RD-R7000 rear derailleur:

The Shimano 105 RD-R7000 SS short cage rear derailleur can be used with a cassette with a maximum of 30 teeth; for 11-32 and 11-34 cassettes, the RD-R7000 GS medium cage rear derailleur is required. Thanks to its greater shifting capacity, it is also compatible with compact cranksets. The new Wide Link design at the derailleur joints reduces weight whilst increasing stiffness and shifting performance.
