105 BR-R7000 Brake
The sleek R1000 series rim brake with a dual-pivot caliper offers maximum precision for better control and greater reliability in races. The rim brake is easy to adjust and maintain thanks to easy access to tools and the ability to change wheels quickly.
Direct-mount brakes
These brakes require frames with the appropriate mounting points. Instead of using a central bolt, as with classic road bike brakes, direct mount brakes are secured to the
frame with two bolts. This requires the frame to have two threaded mounts. The advantage of this system is reduced flex and therefore better braking performance. The rear brakes are available in two versions: with seat stays or bottom bracket/chainstay mounting. The front brake is available in a single version for fork mounting. You can identify the direct-mount mounts on the frame by the two threaded holes in the frame or fork.
