Sram X01 Eagle DUB Crankset
The new Sram X01 crankset with the DUB axle system, in the Super Boost version for frames with a 157 mm Super Boost rear dropout width.
Sram X01 Eagle DUB crankset
The new X01 Eagle crankset with the 29 mm thick DUB aluminium axle and 56.5 mm chainline for mountain bikes with Super Boost+ rear triangle / rear wheel mounting width of 157 mm. The X01 Eagle crankset is tough and, according to Sram, the strongest, stiffest and lightest crankset on the market. Despite its low weight, it is approved for All Mountain, Trail and Enduro use. The Direct Mount chainring mount simplifies chainring changes and allows for quick installation of SRAM Direct Mount chainrings
SRAM DUB axle and bottom bracket system:
The DUB version of the SRAM cranks is suitable for all standard bottom bracket shells. You can find the matching bottom brackets further down in the text. The axles have a diameter of 28.88 mm. Axle play is adjustable via a preloader. The SRAM DUB cranks have a completely proprietary standard and are only compatible with DUB bottom brackets, not with other standards or bottom brackets.
SRAM Direct Mount X-Sync 2 chainring:
The Direct Mount X-Sync chainrings of the SRAM X01 Eagle crankset are bolted directly onto the crank. This saves weight without compromising on stiffness or durability. Perfectly tuned for maximum chain control and guidance. The completely new chainring technology, specially developed for the Eagle chain and drivetrain, offers significantly quieter performance and exceptional durability. Dirt is easier to remove. The chainring teeth are longer and shaped like a saw blade to grip the Eagle chain perfectly. The new chainring profile thus increases chain tension and pedalling efficiency. At the same time, friction, chain noise and wear are reduced.
SRAM Direct Mount chainring mount:
This mount allows Sram Direct Mount chainrings, or Race Face chainrings for example, to be fitted without an additional spider.
Super Boost+ standard:
This mounting standard requires frames with a rear wheel mounting width of 157 mm. The Super Boost Plus cranks, with a chainline of 56.5 mm, then ensure perfect chain movement on the cassette. The axle length on SRAM Super Boost cranks is longer than that of standard Boost or Standard cranks. Consequently, Super Boost cranks are only compatible with frames featuring a Super Boost bottom bracket shell.
