Sram Red XPLR AXS D1 rear derailleur, RD-RED-E-D1:

The Sram Red AXS eTap XPLR rear derailleur for cassettes with a maximum of 10–44 teeth is designed for 1x12-speed systems. The advanced Orbit chain management system makes it quiet and reliable, regardless of the terrain. The rear derailleur is also faster – thanks to larger X-Sync pulleys, ceramic bearings, improved motors and signal transmitters, which enhance performance in every respect. Wireless connection via the AIREA network for quick and clean installation.

Sram Red AXS E1, ED-RED-E1 shift/brake lever:

Braking with just one finger from the lever body or in the sprint position. 83 g lighter than the previous generation. AXS-compatible for easy setup, customisation and reliability. eTap shifting logic for intuitive shifting. Bonus button allows control of ANT+ devices or provides an additional shifting option. Flat Mount Standard:

The Flat Mount caliper standard for road bike brakes reduces weight and offers a significantly sleeker look. With the Flat Mount standard, the rear brake caliper sits directly on the chainstay for 140 mm disc sizes; an adapter for caliper mounting is only required for 160 mm discs. The bolts pass through the chainstay from below directly into the brake caliper. A flat adapter is still required on the fork. The adapter is screwed onto the rear of the fork leg, with the brake sitting directly on the adapter. By flipping the adapter over, the available brake disc size can be changed between 140 and 160 mm. To use a 160 mm disc on the rear wheel/frame, an adapter is required (Part No. 00.5318.018.001).

Sram Red XPLR AXS power metre, FC-RED-1WP-E1:

The Sram Red AXS Carbon power meter crankset for the new XPLR AXS E1 Gravel groupset, in combination with the 10-44 cassettes, offers a completely new gear ratio range. The smaller chainrings and the cassette with the wider range provide a greater gear ratio range than previous systems. The result is smoother and faster front shifting and more usable gears. Weighing just 540 grams, the cranks are also significantly lighter. The new configurations this enables improve cadence and efficiency and ensure crisp, clean and fast shifting.

SRAM Quarq Technology:

The Quarq Power Meter system consists of the CinQo-Saturn ring and the SRAM Red AXS Exogram crankset. The CinQo-Saturn, equipped with state-of-the-art measurement technology, replaces the standard spider of the crankset. The patented measurement technology is integrated into the spider. This is connected via the Ring of Saturn to enable even more accurate measurement of power data.

SRAM Quarq measurement technology:

The Quarq power meter measures power by combining torque, pedal force, angular velocity and cadence, using the strain gauge technology also employed in other power meters. The pedal force applied by the cyclist causes the entire crank to bend slightly for a brief moment. This slight deformation is transmitted to the strain gauges mounted in the crank arm, which can thus measure the deformation and determine the torque. The Quarq CinQo-Saturn uses 20 strain gauges on 10 strain gauge strips in an arrangement patented by Quarq. Data transmission -

Sram Quarq Wireless:

Data transmission is carried out using Bluetooth and ANT+ Sport technology. This wireless data transmission technology is particularly energy-efficient and therefore perfectly suited for use in mobile devices. This makes the Quarq power meter compatible with many receiving devices, e.g. Garmin Edge, Cat Eye Stealth 50, O-Synce Marco X. Power supply: Unlike all other power meter systems, Quarq uses a standard CR2450 battery, which can be replaced by the user without tools. The battery cover is designed similarly to a contact lens case and keeps the battery securely and dry in place. The battery life is approximately 400 hours of continuous use.

SRAM Thread Mount chainring mount:

With the new Thread Mount system, the chainrings are screwed onto the crankset spindle in the direction of travel. This allows for an extremely torsionally rigid and lightweight construction. Tool No. 00.6218.042.000 is required for removal.

SRAM X-Sync:

SRAM’s X-Sync chainrings ensure maximum performance and durability. The long SRAM X-Sync tooth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile, as well as the rounded, slanted edges, aid chain guidance. To deliver the best possible performance even on muddy terrain, the X-Sync chainrings feature recesses to clear dirt and mud away from the inner chain links and rollers. Manufactured in Germany, the X-Sync chainrings are a key component of SRAM’s single-chainring drivetrain

SRAM DUB Wide Axle Bottom Bracket System:

The DUB version of the SRAM cranks is suitable for BSA threaded, PressFit BB92, PressFit 30, BB30, BB386 Evo BB Right and T47 bottom bracket shells. You can find the matching bottom brackets below, along with the installation dimensions. The axles have a diameter of 29 mm. Axle play is adjustable via a preloader. The SRAM DUB road bike cranksets have their own proprietary standard and are only compatible with DUB road bike bottom brackets, not with other bottom brackets. SRAM and Wheels Manufacturing offer compatible bottom brackets for almost every bottom bracket standard; only bottom brackets for Italian thread and Trek BB90 are not available. In those cases, GXP crankarms are required.

Sram XG 1271 Cassette, CS-XG-1290-E1:

The XPLR AXS XG 1270 Mini Cluster cassette offers a 440 per cent gear range. Perfectly matched to the SRAM eTap AXS 1XPLR 12-speed drivetrain and chain, the cassettes deliver outstanding shifting performance thanks to improved shifters. They are lightweight, silent and offer a clear performance advantage. The mini cluster cassette combines small sprockets, milled from a single steel block, with additional sprockets that are individually assembled. The largest sprocket is made of aluminium. The result: a lightweight, affordable and robust 12-speed cassette

Sram PC Red E1 chain, CN-RED-E1:

Perfectly matched for use with SRAM AXS components, the SRAM Red chain. The flat-top design of the links has made it possible to make the chain narrower and lighter. The resulting greater distance between the outer links and the sprockets ensures smoother chain movement and even more precise shifting. As a positive side effect, the chain’s service life is also extended. This is further ensured by a chrome coating on the inner sides of the links and the rollers.

SRAM PowerLock:

SRAM’s chain engineers have developed PowerLock® as a tool-free, secure and consistent method for connecting SRAM chains. Although no special tools are required for installation with PowerLock®, given the tight tolerance range of 10-, 11-, 12- and 13-speed drivetrains, each PowerLock can only be used once.

SRAM Flattop

Compatible with SRAM 12- and 13-speed cassettes. Flattop technology ensures a narrower and lighter chain and enables quieter operation as well as greater strength and durability.

SRAM AXS eTap batteries:

Batteries are used on the rear derailleur and front derailleur. These batteries are interchangeable. So, for example, if the rear derailleur runs out of power halfway through a ride, you can shift to your preferred chainring at the front, swap the two batteries and then continue riding without worry. The batteries have a capacity of approximately 1,000 kilometres or 60 hours of riding time. The charging time for a battery is around 45 minutes. In addition, all components of the SRAM Red eTap groupset are equipped with LED indicators. Green means the battery is fully charged, and red indicates that there is still sufficient capacity remaining. Only when the LED starts flashing red does the charge level approach the end, leaving around 5 per cent capacity remaining.

SRAM AXS technology

AXS is the electronic integration platform that connects SRAM’s electronic bike components and software. The AXS components communicate wirelessly using 128-bit encryption. Each time a groupset comprising, for example, shift levers, a front derailleur and a rear derailleur is paired, a unique code is generated to prevent interference with other riders. The SRAM AXS app allows you to view the battery status, adjust component settings, customise controllers, receive maintenance reminders and update the firmware.
