Shimano Dura Ace Di2 TT ST R9180
The Shimano Dura Ace Di2 disc brakes for use on triathlon and time trial bikes, fitted with carbon levers and the high-end technology of the Dura Ace Di2 STI shifters. These shifters are now equipped with a single Di2 switch and can be programmed entirely to your preferences. These shifters are compatible with all 11- and 12-speed Di2 rear derailleurs and front derailleurs. For 12-speed installation, the shifters require the latest firmware version.
The Dura Ace Di2 STI levers offer optimum ergonomics thanks to their adjustable grip width. The Dura-Ace Di2 shift-brake levers are fitted with carbon brake levers. Shifting taken to a new level. Extremely fast and precise. Thanks to electronic transmission of shift commands, these are executed without delay. Operation is similar to that of mechanical STI levers; shifting is done at the touch of a button. The shift levers are also equipped with the programmable Multishift function
Shimano Dura Ace STI R9180 Disc Levers:
With the STI Disc shift-brake lever ST-R9180, Shimano introduces a very compact shift-brake lever for time trial handlebars, hydraulic disc brakes and the electronic Di2 shifting systems, marking another milestone in the development of hydraulic disc brake systems for road bikes. The new Dura Ace Di2 STI levers offer optimum ergonomics thanks to their adjustable grip width. The Dura-Ace Di2 shift-brake levers are fitted with carbon brake levers. They shift extremely quickly and precisely. Thanks to electronic transmission of shift commands, these are executed without delay. Operation is similar to that of mechanical STI levers, with shifting at the touch of a button. The new 11-speed shifters are also equipped with the programmable Multishift function. Shimano’s engineers have succeeded in integrating a mineral oil cylinder, including a complete braking system, into the still very compact mechanical shift-brake levers. The brake levers are made from multi-layer composite; this technology guarantees maximum stiffness, durability and a lightweight design. Thanks to the improved position of the brake cable, a smooth braking action is achieved, leading to optimised control in extreme conditions. The Dual Control shift/brake levers can be optimally adjusted to the rider via a grip width adjustment and are also very well suited to riders with small hands. The new shift levers allow for significantly faster shifting. This is achieved through a 20 per cent shorter cable pull. The grips feature an ergonomic design for improved comfort – even over long distances.
11-speed Di2 installation:
To operate the Dura-Ace Di2 shifters with the 11-speed Dura-Ace or Ultegra drivetrains, the EW-SD50 cables and SM-EW90 Junction Port for Shimano’s Di2 system, complete with a Quick Mount battery holder and mounting hardware, are required. The EW-SD50 cable set includes connectors for the rear derailleur, front derailleur and battery pack. In addition, the SM-EW90 cockpit junction port is required for connecting the Dura-Ace Di2 STI shift levers. To use the wireless function on the 11-speed Di2 system, the new BT-DN110 battery and the EW-WU111 Bluetooth module are also required.
12-speed Di2 installation:
To operate the Dura-Ace Di2 shift levers with the 12-speed Dura-Ace, Ultegra or 105 drivetrains, the EW-SD50 cable and SM-JC41 junction port, the EW-JC130 Y-cable and the EW-AD305 adapter are required. The latest Di2 firmware is also required.
