Ritchey Comp Drop-In Headset

The fully integrated Ritchey Comp bottom bracket, Integrated Standard, IS47, for frames with a 47 mm bearing seat and forks with a 1 1/8 inch / 33 mm steerer tube diameter at the bottom

The affordable Comp version of the Ritchey headset is fitted with industrial bearings. The compact precision bearings ensure long-lasting riding enjoyment. The fully integrated IS headsets are inserted into the head tube and do not require an additional bearing shell. The frame / head tube must, of course, have the appropriate mount, i.e. a bearing seat.

Ritchey Comp Headset Bearings:

the cartridge bearings with water-repellent Ritchey Special grease ensure robust and durable bearings.

IS headset system:

The IS headsets are inserted into the head tube and require no additional bearing cups. The frame’s head tube also serves as the bearing cup for the headset

IS47/33 headset bottom clearance:

The bottom dimension is 47 mm and the headset taper on the fork is 33 mm, 1 1/4 inches.
