Ritchey WCS Zero Stack Headset

The Ritchey WCS Zero Stack semi-integrated bottom bracket, ZS49, for frames with a 49 mm press-fit diameter on the head tube and forks with a 1 1/4 inch / 33 mm steerer tube diameter at the bottom.

The WCS version of the Ritchey headset is fully equipped with high-quality industrial bearings. The 7075 aluminium bearing cups, as well as the well-sealed tapered precision bearing at the bottom and compact precision bearing at the top, are very easy to adjust and run with almost no resistance

Ritchey WCS Headset Bearings:

The full-contact bearings with titanium-coated raceways, combined with high-quality, exceptionally smooth balls and Ritchey’s water-repellent special grease, ensure highly durable bearings.

Semi-integrated Zero Stack headset system:

Zero Stack headsets require frames with Zero Stack cup mounts. Unlike conventional external cup headsets, the Zero Stack headset cups are no longer pressed in, but are inserted into the steerer tubes. The name Zero Stack derives from the low profile of the headsets.
