DT Swiss 240 EXP Straightpull Hub

The DT Swiss 240 EXP Straightpull hubs offer minimal weight combined with exceptional durability – a rarity, particularly in hub construction. The new axle system, with 15 per cent greater support width, increases hub stiffness. The ‘EXP’ in the DT Swiss 240 hubs stands for the integration of the gear ring and threaded ring, which reduces the number of components and thus lowers the weight. A single cylindrical spring ensures faster, complete engagement and thus greater reliability. The complete interlocking of the ring gears creates a large contact surface and thus low point loads, resulting in superior reliability. The stainless steel ball bearings have proven to be extremely reliable and durable since the introduction of the 240 hubs. The patented freehub body operates with interlocking toothed discs. This guarantees loss-free power transmission. Straightpull refers to straight, non-offset spokes. Thanks to this technology, it is possible to achieve an ideal balance between weight and stability. Straightpull spokes allow for very precise alignment and optimised positioning within the wheel, resulting in a stiffer and more responsive wheel.

• Straightpull spoke positioning: Straightpull lacing allows for precise placement and alignment of the spokes. This optimises wheel stiffness and eliminates any unwanted stress peaks.
• Straightpull hub shell: DT Swiss straight pull hub shells require minimal material, allowing them to be constructed to be lightweight yet stable.
• Straightpull lacing pattern: with a crossed lacing pattern, the spoke anchoring is designed so that the forces introduced almost cancel each other out. This increases the precision of the bearing race and further extends the service life of the ball bearings.

DT Swiss 240 EXP front hubs Boost 15x110mm:

The DT Swiss EXP Boost front hubs can be converted to 12x110 mm Boost. The Boost hub bodies are wider, and the brake disc mount is positioned further out. For this reason, the hubs cannot be converted to the 100 mm mounting dimension
