EXP Freehub Body DT Swiss Road Sinc Ceramic

The super-light version of the EXP freehub body with high-end Sinc Ceramic ball bearings.

For converting DT Swiss Ratchet Star EXP Road hubs to the Campagnolo cassette mount for 9–12-speed Campagnolo cassettes.

SINC ceramic ball bearings have been developed by DT Swiss as a system. They are based on balls made from the ceramic material silicon nitride, Si3N4, which is extremely durable and resistant to wear and corrosion. The bearing rings are made from a specially developed steel alloy tailored to the properties of the ceramic material and are precision-ground. This combination reduces rolling resistance to an absolute minimum and ensures a longer service life compared to conventional ball bearings.

This freehub body is compatible with DT Swiss EXP Ratchet Star hubs featuring the toothed disc freehub bodies and all wheelsets in which these hubs are integrated. The EXP freehub bodies are not compatible with older DT Swiss hubs featuring Ratchet Star freehub bodies. The old and EXP hub end caps are compatible with the old and EXP hub types

By removing the retaining ring on the hub-side bearing and using the washerHCDXXX00S0978S and the spring HXDXXX00N5645S, the classic Ratchet Star freehub bodies can also be used on the new EXP hubs

Not compatible with Pawl 3-pin freehub body systems
