DT Swiss Rotor hubs, aluminium, ceramic bearings, EXP Ratchet sprocket system, XDR Road, for SRAM 12-speed AXS cassettes, plus right-hand end stop for 10x130/135 mm quick-release mounting
DT Swiss EXP Freewheel Body - Sram XDR
The super-light version of the EXP freehub body with high-end Sinc Ceramic ball bearings.
For converting DT Swiss 240 EXP hubs with the Ratchet EXP system to the Sram XDR system for 12-speed AXS road bike cassettes and 11-speed, 12-speed XG and Transition MTB cassettes.
- The kit includes the freehub body and the right-hand frame stop for 10x130mm or 10x135mm quick-release mounting. The right-hand end stops for the mounting dimensions are the same.
- The Ratchet EXP freehub bodies are only compatible with DT Swiss 240 EXP, 240 EXP OS and 180 EXP hubs and rear wheels fitted with these hubs.
- DT Swiss manufactures specific right-hand end caps for each cassette system, such as Shimano HG10, Shimano HG11, Shimano Micro Spline, Sram XD, Sram XDR, Campa ED and Campa N3W. These are also required for conversion if not already present. The right-hand end stops from older systems, such as 3-pawl or Ratchet Star, are also compatible with the new freehub bodies.
Not compatible with Pawl / 3-pawl, Ratchet LN, Ratchet Star, Ratchet DEG hubs.
Not suitable for converting hubs to a different installation dimension
SINC ceramic ball bearings have been developed by DT Swiss as a system. They are based on balls made from the ceramic material silicon nitride, Si3N4, which is extremely durable and resistant to wear and corrosion. The bearing rings are made from a specially developed steel alloy adapted to the properties of the ceramic material and are precision-ground. This combination reduces rolling resistance to an absolute minimum and ensures a longer service life compared to conventional ball bearings.
The SRAM XDR freehub body system allows the installation of SRAM 12-speed road bike cassettes on DT Swiss wheels. The DT Swiss XDR freehub body offers the option to convert your rear wheel to this system. These freehub bodies differ from the MTB XDR freehub bodies in that they are 1.8 mm wider. Total width 35.9 mm, cassette mounting depth 30.3 mm. These freehub bodies can also be used with SRAM MTB XG cassettes. In this case, the cassette sits 1.8 mm further out.
