Like all White Industries hubs, the M15 hub is based on over 30 years of experience in hub manufacturing and practical testing, starting with the Ti Cassette Hub, which was introduced in 1992. White Industries, the long-established manufacturer of bicycle components, has been building bicycle hubs since the 1990s – simple, durable and reliable. The Mi5 is the direct descendant of these hubs from the 90s and, thanks to its low weight and clean, minimalist look, is the perfect choice for road bikes and gravel bikes with rim brakes; however, due to its robust and durable construction, it is equally at home on mountain bikes and touring bikes. At the heart of the Mi5 rear hub is a heat-treated, black-anodised 4130 steel axle with aluminium end caps, which rotates on four Enduro bearings: two in the 6061-T6 aluminium hub shell and two in the 6/4 titanium freehub body.
