Crank Brothers Candy 7 Pedal

The Crank Brothers Candy 7 all-mountain pedals feature a new, larger aluminium pedal body and new bearings. The 10 per cent larger contact surface of the Candy 7 pedals, with bevelled edges, offers even more grip without compromising manoeuvrability. Equipped with the new Enduro bearings 686LLU/igus and DSS seals, durability in tough all-mountain use has also been significantly increased.

On the Candy pedals, the Eggbeater mechanism is enclosed in an aluminium cage. The excellent performance of the Eggbeaters is retained. The clamping mechanism automatically rotates into the correct position. In terms of weight, the Candy cannot quite keep up with the Eggbeaters. As with all Crank Brothers pedals, the spring tension does not need to be adjusted.

The clamping arms operate like a pair of scissors; the harder you pull on the pedal, the greater the clamping force. This design allows the release force to be kept low, without you having to worry about accidentally unclipping from the pedal during sprints or climbs.
