Crank Brothers Candy 2 Pedals
The Crank Brothers Candy 2 pedals feature high-end Enduro Bearings and Igus II bearings.
On the Candy pedals, the Eggbeater mechanism is encased in an aluminium cage. The excellent performance of the Eggbeaters is retained. The clamping mechanism automatically rotates into the correct position. In terms of weight, the Candy cannot quite keep up with the Eggbeaters. However, the Candy Titan pedal still outperforms almost all other pedals in a weight comparison. Due to the titanium pedal axle, the Candy TI is only approved for riders weighing up to 85 kg. As with all Crank Brothers pedals, the spring tension does not need to be adjusted.
The clamping arms operate like a pair of scissors; the harder you pull on the pedal, the greater the clamping force. This design allows the release force to be kept low, without you having to worry about accidentally unclipping from the pedal during sprints or climbs.
Included in the package: pedals, cleats, screws. The cleats on Crank Brothers pedals are not compatible with the Shimano SPD cleat system.
